Efímera follows Casandra, an immigrant finding her way in New York City. She is grappling with memory lapses that blur the lines between her vibrant past and her lonely present. As she searches for a sense of belonging and delves further into the soul pool that is her identity, Casandra must confront the present and challenge herself to find hope for the future. Efímera is a surrealist examination of belonging, identity, memory, and self-discovery.
Hi! Alex and Fedra here. We are lucky to have met 5 years ago while attending NYU’s Graduate Acting program. We have made 4 short films together to date. Our goal is to inspire the sea of unseen & silenced voices searching for understanding. Efímera is a deeply personal project that we hope to make a reality with the help of our community.
